Co-founded a B2B SaaS startup aimed at focusing on growth between pharmacies and laboratories via a medication purchasing platform. Led branding and design from scratch, conducted user research with different benchmarks and Managed the design process in collaboration with the marketing team to introduce new features and optimize UX funnels, ensuring a seamless handoff with a cohesive design system aligned with brand guidelines.

Summary

The project started as a partnership between three experts: one from the pharmaceutical world with direct connections to labs, one specializing in logistics, and us at Kamikaze Lab as the tech team. My role was Creative Director. The goal was to help small pharmacies access competitive products. We acted as the intermediary, connecting pharmacies with laboratories. I handled the entire branding process, research, and the full end-to-end experience. We began by defining the business model, then conducted a deep benchmark to understand the pharmaceutical space. After several rounds of branding proposals with the marketing team, we finalized the brand direction. From there, we built a landing page as the product’s front door, and developed the main product: a web app marketplace that served both pharmacies and laboratories.

Outcome

The project ran for a year before launch, and as Creative Lead I focused on keeping every flow in the platform efficient, adding features that strengthened the UX funnels and improved the overall experience. We built multiple prototypes and tested them with real users. We also interviewed more than 100 independent pharmacies to map real operational pain points, identify high-performing product categories, understand buying patterns and demographics, and validate which features actually supported their day-to-day needs.
